Tauranga Eastern Link Starts Early

The NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) has announced that main construction works on the $455million Tauranga Eastern Link (U2875) will begin later this month - more than six months earlier than anticipated. The Eastern Link is expected to reduce travelling time by up to 24 minutes on a return trip through the area as well as open up access to new developments planned for Papamoa. The Tauranga Eastern Link will be largest roading project ever undertaken in the Bay of Plenty region. Works are expected to take up to 5 years to complete.
