SELWYN GEARS UP FOR AQUATIC CENTRE CONSTRUCTION

Christchurch building company Naylor Love Construction recently won the tender to build Selwyn’s first indoor year-round aquatic centre, which is due to open January 2013. The $14.7million facility, which features a 25m main pool plus hydrotherapy, learn-to-swim, and leisure pools, is the latest project to get underway in Canterbury’s fastest growing district. Selwyn District Council also has plans to build a $3.7million library and service centre in Lincoln, which is currently out for public consultation. For further details on the construction of Selwyn’s new aquatic centre, see WOR listing J122592.
