Plans for the extravagant new Clyde Wharf Quay apartment complex remain in full swing, despite prospective clients recently becoming wary of the waterfront location. “One of the realities of Wellington is that, recession or not, there is a shortage of good quality housing in stock,” said developer Mark McGuiness, “it’s an absolutely unique site, in my view the best in Wellington.” The new complex will occupy the old Overseas Terminal site and boast luxurious features such as a fitness centre, day spa and business centre.
