POSITIVE OUTLOOK FOR NZ PROPERTY MARKET

The outlook of New Zealand’s commercial property market looks positive for both investors and occupiers, according to the last figures from the RICS Global Commercial Property Survey. In spite of several economic setbacks this year, including the recent earthquakes in Canterbury, the first quarter of 2011 saw investment demands remaining steady with a positive prospect for capital value growth. In contrast, Australia’s commercial property market lagged in the second quarter of 2011, while New Zealanders saw an improvement in the pace of growth.
