NEW UNIVERSITY IN TAURANGA TO GET UNDERWAY

Plans for a brand new University situated on Durham Street in the Tauranga CBD have recently gained approval from Tauranga City Council. The project has been tentatively split into a three-stage process with an estimated overall cost of $55.5million. The first two stages will include two buildings, at least five stories high which will include space to accommodate up to 1000 full-time students by 2020. By 2025, the development should be complete and will likely encompass the entire Durham Street block between Spring and Elizabeth Streets. This is welcome news in economic terms for the city as it will reportedly bring in an additional $30 million each year to the local economy. Follow our listings J136950, J137724 & J137725.
