MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR BREWERY REDEVELOPMENT KICKS OFF

Greymouth’s historic Monteith’s Brewery, which started up almost 150 years ago as a small family owned business which receives approximately 16,500 visitors per year, is set to re-open in April 2012 after an extensive makeover. The $4 million redevelopment project started early last month and includes the replacement of aged brewing equipment with new, energy efficient technology.
