MASTERTON GETS A SHOPPING BOOST

A $1.5+million retail development on Masterton’s Queen Street has been given the thumbs up to get going; all it needs now is some tenants. Property Developer Florus Bosch is hopeful of having the development constructed by August, with retail doors open by October, in time for Christmas trade. The site, which used to be home to the century old Masterton Fire Station, would hold four shops ranging in size from 150sqm to 500sqm. Not only would it put smiles on the faces of Masterton’s shopaholics, but would provide plenty of jobs for the community. To follow progress on the project see J117801.
