LIFE IN THE FAST LANE FOR HAMILTON CONSENTS

Hamilton City Council has approved a timesaving scheme that will allow accredited developers to obtain building consents within a 48-hour period. The initiative, which has been in planning for several years, is designed to help developers who build more than 10 houses a year in the area. Three developers have been approved for the scheme so far and a further five could qualify.
