House of the year awards announced

 

Whats On Report congratulates all regional winners and national finalists of the 2010 Registered Master Builders House of the Year and Commercial Project Awards (in association with Placemakers). Now in it's 20th year, these awards are the official quality mark for Registered Master Builders and the properties they build, encouraging a high level of quality in the NZ building industry. This year the awards featured a stunning collection of nearly 600 entrants across 25 categories nationwide.

Each region had much to boast about, in Auckland the Placemakers Supreme Award for the House of the Year went to Lindesay Construction Ltd for a property in Remuera and the Placemakers Supreme Award for Renovation of the Year was handed to Priority One Construction Ltd for a property in Mission Bay. RMB Commercial Project of the Year went to Brookfield Multiplex Constructions (NZ) Ltd for the Deloitte Centre. Wellington's  Keys Construction Ltd celebrated winning the Placemakers Supreme Award for the House of the Year for a property in Porirua and Plan It Construction Ltd walked away with the Placemakers Supreme Award for Renovation of the Year for a property in Kelburn. The Wellington RMB Commercial Project of the Year went to Mainzeal Property and Construction Ltd for the New Zealand Supreme Court Building.

The 2010 national winners will be announced at a gala event to be held at the Langham in Auckland on 27 November. Good luck to all nominees!
