GREEN LIGHT FOR GREEN ISLAND DEVELOPMENT

Irmo Properties director Grant Chirnside has received resource consent approval for his multimillion dollar retail complex developments in Green Island, Dunedin. Local architectural firm McCoy and Wixon has drawn up initial designs for the project, which involves the renovation and restoration of a WWII-era iron roller mill building located near Dunedin’s Southern Motorway. The 4,900sq m retail precinct will include up to eight bulk and specialist retailers and a car park with 187 spaces. This exciting new development is currently being marketed and construction timing will be finalised as soon as tenants are signed up.
