GREEN LIGHT FOR $160 MILLION CHRISTCHURCH PROJECT

The wait is finally over for developers of a $160 million golf academy and residential resort, earmarked for Spencerville in Christchurch. The project has been in planning since 2003 and was given the green light in July this year. Developments will include an 18-hole championship golf course and a training academy for up to 160 students from all over the world. Plans are being finalised at present and some resource consents are still to be gained. For further information on this project, see Whats On Report listing J115439.
