FINE DESIGN STANDS TEST OF TIME

Section winners of the 2011 New Zealand Architecture Awards have been announced, recognising excellence in architectural design and performance throughout the country. The Warren and Mahoney designed Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington picked an endurance award along with designers of the  Freyberg Pool Building, King and Dawson. The judges stated that although both buildings are around 30 years old, they still feel modern and are enjoyed by the community. The overall winner of the awards will be named 20 May 2011.
