A $19 million project to update and beautify the Adelaide Road area in Mount Cook has taken its first step with a new green space and cherry trees along Drummond Street. Fulton Hogan contractors replaced the run down path with a new flight of steps connecting Tasman and Hanson Streets and council staff have just put the final touches on the landscaping works by planting native grasses. Low-hanging power cables being tidied up and a new pedestrian crossing in place have further revitalized the area. See J117973 for the completed Drummond Street stage and J99633 for overall project, with work still to come. Not a client and need project leads like this? Contact Us to find out more.
