BILLION DOLLAR PLAN APPROVED

 

Drivers can celebrate with the news that the Waikato Regional Council this week approved a Land Transport Programme that will see $1.1 billion spent on transport projects around the district between 2012 and 2015. Regional Transport Committee member Norm Barker said funding for activities which improve safety and reduce the road toll have been given a high priority by the committee. Make sure to follow these roading projects with the Whats On, including the Huntly Bypass (U13306).
