A DOSE OF CULTURE FOR CUP VISTORS

Foreign visitors to this year’s Rugby World Cup will get a hands-on taste of New Zealand culture. An exhibition designed to interactively tell the unique story of New Zealand’s Haka will be installed at Wellingtons Te Papa Museum. Jennie Smeaton, communications manager for Ngati Toa Iwi said the exhibition is scheduled to be installed in time for the World Cup in September and will cost between $700 thousand and $1 million. The exhibition will teach visitors both the male and female parts to the Ka Mate Haka.
